Google Local Business Listing- must I display my address?

Resolved Question

Google Local Business Listing- must I display my address?

I have a mobile beauty business where I take bookings at home, and visit the client at their home for the appointment. I have a website and have registered it with Google local business, but for safety I only want to show my telephone number and town, I don't want to show my full home address. Is there any way to do this?

Thanks in advance

Additional Details

Thanks b. I have entered my full address but I have not yet confirmed/made my listing public.

I'm Pretty sure the address is essential since it's location keyed and geared for conventional retailers, you have the option of verification by telephone or postcard, so there may be an opportunity for some ingenuity.

  • sounds like you already have. (not made public your address)
But some people do like to see a physical address before they will do business with you.
