Avon is worthwhile only if you run it like a real business. In a real business there are always business expenses that you have to cover. The catalogs are an expense. You have to build your customer base, trust me it takes a lot of patience but in the end it is worth it. At first you start off with selling to the people you know and promote your business. It has taken me a long time to see a profit but I only just started treating it like a real business 2 months ago. There are many ways to sell Avon, you don't have to stick with just one, you are the boss. You could do Avon parties, sell door to door, do yard sales, fundraisers, beauty consultations, leadership, erepresentative, etc. There are so many options. Definitely do more research before you make your decision. Avon is easy to sell because they've been around for such a long time. I get new customers sometimes just by brand recognition alone. People approach me when I am doing deliveries, and just wearing Avon. So if you need more help you can message me.

  • I have recently found out that you need to declare Everything you make over £5, wether you have cash or the goods from avon for your money you have to inform the tax office. I have been an avon rep for 2 yrs just to my friends and family, and i didnt know this until recently.

I had a round but it wasnt worth it, once i had forked out for my books, then collected orders, delivered orders and then half my cistomers returned the products they had bought ( used ) i lost out, so stuck with friends and family
