How many times in my content do I need to repeat keywords for them to take affect?

Be careful about having too many repeats of your keywords. Search engines are getting smarter and might consider your content as "spam".

Use LSI instead for content rich websites.

LSI is Latent Semantic Indexing, where you use related words.

• Normally keyword density should fall between 2.5% - 4.5%.

• Around 5% is usually alright. Make sure not to overdo it though, because Google caught onto that a long time ago and it will hurt you if anything.
• The experts say it should be 6% of the whole content so if you have 100 words your keyword should be mentioned 6 times. But to make sure try a google search for "keyword density".
