Can you explain what is retailing in business?

i have no idea what that is so just explain in detail what it is.

What Raysor said. If your a customer going to a shop for personal items the shop is a retail branch. Its only retail if the shop is selling on the behalf of a manufacture.

However I dont beleave online buying is always retail if you buy in bulk from the wholesalers or direct from the manufacture.
