I am starting a brand new department?

and i need some ideas on how to get our customers to know all about this new venture. Has anyone got any ideas apart from phone calls on how to do this.I also need to get them to visit our web site.

if you have a database of customers, then the most effective form of marketing is to launch an email newsletter campaign. Alternatively, you can create a group on facebook and publicise it that way. Twitter is also a very useful marketing tool if used correctly- you can spread the word about your new department for free if you make the right connections.
